BACK DOOR/UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS

  • Robberies typically occur when Employees leave through the back door to empty trash or to go home. Robbers often force their way into the Pizzeria with Employees or vendors.

  • The office door must be locked at all times.

  • Money should never be left on a desk or visible to strangers without a member of management present.

  • Strangers should not be allowed through the back or side door.

  • Employees should check the identification of anyone they do not recognize who claim to be a new Employee, sales person, inspector, home office Employee or repairman.

  • No delivery people should be allowed to carry things out of the Pizzeria unless authorized by the Manager on duty.

  • The back door is not to be propped open, even during deliveries or when taking out the trash.

  • After each opening, the back door must be closed and secured. Remember: if in doubt, do not open the back door to anyone! If necessary, call the police.
