ORIENTATION, TRAINING AND ADVANCEMENT
The Passariello’s orientation process is designed to provide you, and us, the opportunity to get to know each other better. You have successfully gone through our Employee selection process and appear to be a good match for our organization. With that being said, we want the opportunity to begin a training and orientation period to see how you fit in with your co-workers and determine if you are willing and able to carry out all of the responsibilities for the position in which you were hired. You must also demonstrate, by example, your understanding and acceptance of our Principles and Beliefs as your core values.
It’s also important for you to get to know us, and become familiar with our culture. With this in mind, we have designed an orientation period that is tailored to your Pizzeria station which allows you and Passariello’s to see if the fit is good. During the orientation period, you will begin a training program and be mentored by a trainer. If you ever feel you don’t understand what’s expected of you or you need additional help, we encourage you to ask questions and speak directly with your trainer or supervisor.
TRAINING
To help you succeed at your job, you will receive guidance by our in-house trainers and managers. You will participate in training programs and receive training materials to help you perform your job the right way. Your trainers are very good at what they do, and have been certified to train for your position. We want you to be a knowledgeable and productive member of our Passariello’s Family.
ADVANCEMENT
Advancement opportunities may occur during your employment. Passariello’s is committed to a promotion from within policy. Your skills, performance, and personal initiative will be key factors in your ability to advance with Passariello’s. It is important for you to take the initiative and let your supervisor know that you’re interested in job advancement.
Many open positions are posted on location bulletin boards. You may apply for these positions, if you meet the minimum requirements listed on the job postings.
An employee with strong potential can be offered a variety of opportunities in Restaurant Management and other areas. If upward mobility is your goal, it is well within reach at Passariello’s for people with superior performance.
