Employees should remove trash from the Pizzeria before dark whenever possible. If trash must be removed after dark, Managers and Employees must use the “buddy system.” One person should stand in the doorway and watch as the other removes the trash. The “buddy system” helps to increase the safety of our staff by ensuring that help can be notified quickly.

After the Pizzeria has been secured, Employees should not open doors for anyone. If a stranger approaches the front or back door, Employees should not approach or open the door unless a Manager is present.

Closing Employees and Managers should leave the Pizzeria together. Employees should not leave the Pizzeria alone after dark or closing.

Before opening the door at night, Employees should thoroughly check the parking lot for anyone sitting in a parked car or anyone suspicious.

Employees should park their vehicle near the designated exit door prior to the Pizzeria closing if they will be leaving last.
