FALSIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS
The information provided to Passariello’s by Employees during the employment application process is expected to be true and accurate. Any false or misleading information or significant omissions may disqualify an applicant from consideration for employment, and/or may result in termination from employment, even if discovered at a later point after the applicant is hired. Anyone who is found to have falsely identified him/herself at any point during their employment or the application process may be terminated. Any Manager who is found to have carelessly, knowingly, or intentionally accepted false documentation from another Employee at any point during the application or employment process will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Employees terminated for the reasons stated above will be considered ineligible for rehire.
SCHEDULE AND ATTENDANCE
Schedules are posted in advance on a weekly basis. It is each Employee’s responsibility to check his or her schedule regularly to see if there have been any changes. Business can fluctuate on a day-to-day-basis; therefore, Passariello’s reserves the right to adjust any Employee’s shifts accordingly.
You are expected to work the schedule posted. Please discuss with your Manager any questions that you may have. Requests must be in writing 2 weeks in advance. Please remember that a REQUEST is just that, a request. We will do our best to honor your request but we only allow 2 people maximum for each position to request off for one day.
Employees may request a schedule change by submitting, in writing, a schedule change request form to their Manager for approval. Until the Manager approves the request, the requested schedule change is not guaranteed. Employees should be aware that requests for vacation, schedule changes, or changes to their availability will be assessed by the Manager based on the needs of the business.
Employees who are unable to report to work due to sickness or an emergency must contact a Manager directly no less than three (3) hours before the beginning of their shift. Notification received from another employee, friend or relative is not considered proper, except under emergency conditions.
Hourly employees must record all hours worked within Passariello’s automated timekeeping system. Each Employee is given an Employee ID number or swipe card to clock “in” and “out”. Employees must clock in at the beginning of each scheduled shift and clock out upon completion of each scheduled shift.
Passariello’s must have an accurate record of the time an Employee spends working for Passariello’s. No work is to be performed without first clocking in; customarily, this be no earlier than 5 minutes before the scheduled shift. Employees are not to clock out until all work has been completed. Employees must immediately notify management if they forget to clock in and out.
Passariello’s prohibits Employees from clocking in or out for any other Employee. Tampering, altering, or falsifying time records is considered a serious violation of Company policy, which could result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Passariello’s considers unexcused or unauthorized tardiness and absences to be disruptive to the operation.

Any Employee who does not call or report to work for two consecutive shifts will be considered to have voluntarily resigned.
