SOLICITATION POLICY

It is the intent of Passariello’s to provide a pleasant and interruption free workplace for Employees. As a result, Employees may not solicit for any purpose during their work time. Work time includes the work time of both the Employee doing the soliciting and the Employee to whom the soliciting is being directed. Work time does not include authorized breaks, meal periods or other designated periods of time when work is not assigned. Passariello’s further prohibits the distribution of non Company materials, including advertising materials, and bills or other literature, in all working areas at all times.

Additionally, during an Employee’s association with Passariello’s and for a period of 1 year following his or her separation from Passariello’s, that Employees agrees that he or she will not, directly or indirectly, solicit, divert, or hire away or attempt to solicit, divert, or hire away any Employee of Passariello’s (whether or not such Employee is full-time, part-time or temporary), nor will that Employee, directly or indirectly, solicit or attempt to solicit any Guest of Passariello’s and discontinue the Guest relationship with Passariello’s.

In addition, the use of Guest lists, Employee files or other such confidential information for the purpose of soliciting, diverting or hiring away (or any such attempt is prohibited).

THEFT

Unauthorized removal, attempted removal, use, destruction, or defacing of Passariello’s property, including but not limited to inventory items, money, supplies, and equipment is theft. Theft is forbidden, and is cause for termination, and may result in legal action.

WEAPONS POLICY

Passariello’s strictly prohibits any Employee from possessing any weapon at or near the Pizzeria, or in any parking lot or other common area used in conjunction with Passariello’s business operations. This includes any event (and the property on which the event is being held) that is sponsored by or could be perceived as sponsored by Passariello’s.

If a weapon is seen or verified by a Manager, the Employee in violation will be immediately advised of the policy violation, which could result in his or her immediate termination. The definition of weapons in this policy includes any device that is designed to or may inflict serious injury upon another person (e.g., firearms, knives other than related to regular work duties, club, explosive, etc.).
